What's In A Name?

I like to read.  Books.  You know?  Books?  Yes, well I like to read.  So I always have a book kept in my drawer at work to read on my lunch break. (Also, I'm the only one in my office that seems to use the "breakroom" for eating lunch.  I can't help that I don't have money to spend on lunch everyday like all of you people, so please leave me alone when I'm on my "break" and let me enjoy my lunch and book in peace.  Thank you.)  Currently, I'm reading Jane Eyre.  Have you read it?  Just so you know, if I find a book that I like, I usually read it a couple of times... unless it's Harry Potter, The Hunger Games, or Twilight... then I will read it a bazillion times until I have the entire series memorized (question: Why is this bad?  How is it different from watching a beloved movie over and over again??).

Anyway!  I'm reading JANE EYRE for the second time.  And I love Mr. Rochester.  You want to know what makes him better?  His name is Edward.  EDWARD!  And I've really come to love the name Edward.  And guess what?  It's not just because of Edward Cullen.  Although, hi... Edward Cullen... I love you.  It's also because of Edward Rochester and Edward Ferrars (from Sense and Sensibility, of course!  But I would MUCH rather marry Colonel Brandon.).  Also because of another book that I recently read called Shutter Island (book review: it was good, except I wish that it didn't have the "eff" word on every single page.  It's not very fun to look at.  And I'm hoping that they will take that word out for the movie coming out in February, so that I can see it.  Leo Dicaprio - I LOVE YOU!).  The main character's name is Teddy, but it's shortened from Edward.  I love the name Teddy!  Do you know why?  LITTLE WOMEN.  Seriously.  Hi, Laurie, can I marry you, instead of stupid Amy?  Especially if you look like Christian Bale?

Also, I love the name Teddy because of a new blog that I am mildly obsessed with (and when I say "mildly" I mean, "EXTREMELY").  It's Busy Bee Lauren.  Her husband's name is Ted and she calls him "the Tedward".  And I may or may not have spent the last couple of days reading her entire blog.  She is this hilarious Mormon girl from Arizona that is obsessed with all things currently hip and trendy.  She is... awesomespice.
Anyway, what was the point of this post again?  I don't remember.  So I guess I'll stop now.

P.S.  A list of some of my most favorite fictional characters in no particular order:
Rhett Butler
Theodore Laurence
Edward Cullen
Colonel Brandon
Peeta Mellark
Fitzwilliam Darcy
Harry Potter
Tom Sawyer
Frodo Baggins... and basically everyone from Lord of the Rings
Ender Wiggin
Sydney Carton

Can you name all the books?  They are pretty easy... I'll give you a special prize if you can do it without Googling. :)

Yay! I love new book ideas! I saw the preview for Shutter Island and thought it looked AWESOME. I think I'll give it a read! I read Jane Eyre sometime this last year for the first time, and oh, how I loved it! This was a good post, I want to pull out all my favorites again, you are right, why can't we read them over and over?

You are hilarious.

And call me morbid and weird, but I like Edward Scissorhands too.

Oh but wait, that's not really a book. Oops. Sorry.
