Holiday Spirit

Katie didn't really like to sit on Santa's lap.  But she was perfectly happy to be held on the other side of the room and wave at him.

We finally got our boring tree up.  There are small teddy bears all over it and Katie really likes them.  Katie also likes books.

Katie also likes to wear her snowman hat that her grandma gave to her.

Katie is enjoying the season.  Her mommy is not.  Her mommy really hates Christmas shopping when she doesn't know what to get people.  Katie's mommy also hates crazy people that are in all of the stores at this time of year. 

Katie's mommy ALSO hates spending $50 on someone to get $50 in return.  Why don't we all just keep our money instead of spending it on things we don't really need??

As you can tell, we're really feeling the spirit of the season at our house.

But I will really be glad for the time off from work to be with my little honeybunch.

And to have a husband again.  Mine currently leaves for work in the middle of the night and comes home in the evening to take a shower, eat some dinner, hug his little girl, kiss his wife and then go to sleep by 7pm.
