"Have You Ever Modeled?"

This was the question I was just asked by a man that comes in quite frequently to our office. Now, don't for a minute think that I believed that he thought I could ever/have ever been a model. Not at all. This is just an example of one of the many awkward ways that this man gives me compliments. And how did I know that he was giving me a compliment, you may ask? Because after I sort of laughed (for his sake) and said No, he told me, "That was meant to be a compliment, by the way."

Wow... really??
