I hide in bathroom stalls.
It's true. OK, I'm not really "hiding" but I hate public bathrooms and I hate hearing other people use the facilities and I really hate the idea of other people listening to me trickle...trickle...trickle. So I always end up standing in the stall until the other people have left. Or I wait until the one person has left and a new person has just shut their door - and then I hurry and get the heck out as fast as I can! After washing my hands, of course.
Because really, public bathroom conversations are just awkward. We're all trying to pretend like we didn't hear each other pee or toot. Worse is the people that come in when I'm washing my hands and then start to have a conversation with me as they go into a stall and continue talking while they do their business.
Side bar - um... why, WHY do so many people leave without washing their hands??? And just rinsing your hands for .5 seconds also doesn't count. I can't believe how many women I have heard come in, and go out without stopping to wash their hands.
The people of the world really freak me out some times.
Anyone else have a confession that they want to share? Am I really weird for hating public bathrooms so much?

No I am right there with you. Sometimes I make secret grossed out faces in the stall when someone comes in and just let's it all go. I am glad I am not alone in this.....although I still want to be alone when I go potty mmmkay?
I do the exact same thing, there is a a proper way to use a public facility and seriously, if you and another person finish at the same time - one of you must wait in the stall while the other washes their hands. And there is nothing more I hate (or maybe some things, but this is up there) then entering the stall at the same time as someone, starting the convo, peeing, and then washing hands and walking out. There is something wrong with us! Why is that so awful?
