Grandma Camp {Day 2}

When Katie and I got to Grandma Camp on Friday, Grandma was just about to start mowing the lawn.  Which is always a favorite with the kids.

Everyone wanted rides, so Grandpa tied the wagon to the back of the lawn mower.. and then when one was left out, he started pulling the tiny wagon behind.  The kids all loved this.  But I think the Mom's loved it more.  It was so funny to see the train going by in the backyard. (Katie is riding on Grandma's lap.)

The "big kids".  Getting covered in the grass that would blow out of the back.

This picture cracks me up.  Carly and Grandma with funny faces for Katie.

Maddy woke up from her nap and got to ride with Grandma.

Luke can't ever figure out why I want to take so many pictures. This was when the kids were supposed to be making Fruit Loop necklaces.  But instead, the adults ended up making them while the kids ran around like crazies.

It was time for dinner and we all went out to eat. (The A/C at Grandma's house went out, and it was WAY too hot to try to cook.) The kids, the moms and Grandma and Grandpa.  We tried to get a picture of all of the kids - this is the best one out of, oh I don't know, 20?

The neighbors let us borrow their trampoline when we got home.

The neighbors also have a slide.  And Katie loves to slide, in case you've forgotten.

And then, oh then! It was time for fingerpainting.

These two girls LOVED the paint.  The two boys? Not so much.  Not at all, actually.

Carly showing me her paint hands.

Oh, this works on me too?

I have a billion pictures of Katie in the paint, but I think I will stop here. She took a quick "bath" in Grammy's little pool and then we went home for a nice warm bath.
