Photobomb

I was just going through pictures on my cards and I came across a gem that I just have to share somewhere.  But let me give you a little back story first.

For Christmas, I updated pictures that Tyson's mom has hanging down her stairs of each of the kids (and their spouses).  The last pictures were from May of 2010, when I was 12 weeks pregnant, Tyson's brother Travis was VERY much single, his younger sister and her husband were about to move to Kentucky for dental school, his other little brother was leaving on a mission in 5 days and Maddie was about to turn 15.  So the pictures are dated, to say the least, since there's a lot of growing up that a 15 year old does in 2 years - and there are now two grandbabies in the family, plus a new in-law.

Anyway, I had access to recent pictures of everyone else in the family except for Caleb.  So I sent him a text about a week before Christmas that I needed him to come out to my house after I got home from work so that I could get a new picture of him for the wall.  He came out and Katie was so excited for Uncle "Bay-bub" to come and play cars with her!  Caleb is lots of fun to play with and gets down on her level and loves to talk with her and play and run and chase and laugh with her.

It was cold and we had about 20 minutes of light after Caleb got out to our house, so we stayed close and just used the side of our townhouse for his pictures.  Katie was easily entertained with rocks and such, and was also a very good assistant and helped me to tell Caleb to look at my camera and smile.  But, being my daughter, she also thought that she needed to be included in the picture taking.

I was focused on Caleb and trying to hurry, because it was cold and I wanted to get Katie back inside.  When all of a sudden, I noticed something in the frame that shouldn't have been there.
(don't mind the logo - I had planned to put this on my website, but changed my mind and I don't want to go re-edit the picture)

Oh, how she makes me smile.  And laugh.
