We'll start with New Year Day. In our house, the New Years Baby comes after midnight and fills up your Christmas stocking again with more candy. Sometimes he leaves a present behind. Sometimes it's more than one present when the Disney Store is having a sale.
I made potato soup and got a blister from chopping all of the vegetables. Seriously.
This little one actually held still long enough for me to do her hair! It was called "princess hair" for the day since she had to wear around her Cinderella necklace and shirt.
Later that same day after nap - she woke up with a hand print on her face and super crazy/messy hair.
That same weekend she let me do her hair fancy again. I successfully completed a French braid for the first time with her super fine hair.
I guess that January has been all about the hair. I put Katie's hair in braids at bedtime and the next morning we both had 80's hair. It was totally radical. And we were bodacious babes.
I took a day off of my "real" job to sit at home and watch an online photography workshop. I took pages of notes and learned a lot about my new little business. Now if only someone would call and inquire about booking so that I could put all of my new found knowledge into practice.
Just entertaining myself while editing photos one day. Everyone loves their wedding ring(s) and I am no different.
Tyson took me out to Texas Roadhouse and I had Country Fried Chicken. I told myself it was good for my heart. And then I ate lots of rolls.
I got fancy for work and stole Tyson's tie. I also washed my sheets.
A rare glimpse of blue sky this winter!
Sometimes I get bored at work.
The world's worst photo taken by a co-worker at our annual meeting. Austin Collie was the keynote speaker. Seriously. That's how awesome my company is. *sarcasm* But I had to get the picture since Tyson thinks he's super cool.
I finally got to see Les Mis. And I cried.
Our daughter is learning excellent table manners for when we eat in public.
She's getting too big, I tell you.
And this was the amount of milk that my husband left for me this morning. Thanks, Babe.
