If a 7 Year Old Can Do It, Then So Can I!

Tyson and I currently are serving in the Primary, teaching the kids that will be turning 8 this year.  One of the little girls in our class told us on Sunday that she and her family are all going sugar-free UNTIL HALLOWEEN!  How is this even possible with kids under 16??!

Anyway she's inspired me, once again, to go sugar-free.

I really like candy.  And Mexican Cokes.  And cookies.  So this won't be easy.  Why don't you guys do it along with me?  My goal is 30 days.  Starting today, the 13th.  That puts me at being able to eat sugar again just before our trip to Disneyland, and when we celebrate Katie's birthday early.

So here's what I'm planning:

You can have your own interpretation, even if it's only "I won't eat any Skittles for 30 days".

And I'll be checking back in here every couple of days with how many times I've cheated and what my weight is doing.  Is that OK?

It's my blog.  So I'll do it even if you don't like it.

So there.

I like your definition of a "No-Sugar" diet! I might just have to do this 30 challenge with you...

you are no fun. I will eat all of the ice cream by myself.

I just made "raspberry-dark chocolate banana bread" and I've consumed 2+ slices...I cannot participate. At least not today.

I totally need to do this (because I'm fat) so I will do it with you! And just maybe, I can convince Marc to do it with me as well!
